Full of flavor! Full of Fun! It's neither turkey, nor ham!!! Just what we need for the Friends-gathering before Christmas!!! And the Colors! They match so perfectly!!!
This is designed as a self serve buffet meal, with the exception of any passed hors d'eouvres and a served dessert, with coffee. It makes a wonderful luncheon buffet, or a dinner/supper buffet. Fun for mingling and chatting! You and your guests will completely enjoy this treat!!
We'll start on the buffet with a simple Deluxe Caesars' Salad...with garnish! Crisp lettuces, tomatoes, red onion, croutons and shaved Parmesan! Caesar Dressing on the side.

For the Month of December Holiday Menu, the Holiday Pasta Party, I'm influenced by our old family favorites! The Classic Bolognese (Sunday Meat Sauce), the House Alfredo, and the Meatballs in Marinara. And, oh my, the add-ins to the sauces...Grilled Shrimp Skewers or bites of freshly cooked bacon for the Alfredo, Grilled Chicken Breast Strips, Basil Pesto, Sundried Tomato Pesto, freshly grated Parmesan, and the old classic green shaker can of 4 cheese Italian goodness! For pasta selections, I like to do a simple one, like linguini...it's just a step up from spaghetti... it's a little bit flatter, holds the sauce better! Then, a hearty pasta, like rigatoni, that'll hold up to the meat sauce...and how about a bowtie for the Alfredo sauce??? I think we can do just about anything with that spread of ingredients!!! If you have other ideas, do share! It's all about sharing!

And, then when we come out of this tube of deliciousness, we move on to our served dessert.

Italian Dessert Cannoli!! Wonderfully crunchy tubes of sweet creamy goodness, completely decadent and delicious!!! We do make the Cannoli tubes...they're not available at the stores, here. The sweet cinnamon ricotta cream filling is rich with vanilla, a hint of mini chocolate chips and the outside edge of the tube is coated in chocolate and dipped in crushed hazelnuts! Oh, so good!
It's warm, cool, creamy and delicious...al in one bite!!!
